The Lagos State Domestic and Sexual Violence Agency (DSVA) said that it has rescued a pregnant woman assaulted by her husband in the Mushin area of the state.
The Executive Secretary of DSVA, Mrs Titilola Vivour-Adeniyi, made this known in a statement in Lagos.
She said that the agency received a distress call on Wednesday from a reporter about an alleged case of domestic violence.
“In the wake of the recent report of a seven-month pregnant woman who lost her life as a result of domestic violence, the agency has received yet another distress call from a mandated reporter of an alleged case of domestic violence involving another pregnant woman and her husband.
