AS Roma announced on Tuesday that Jose Mourinho has been dismissed from his role as the coach, stating in a press release, “we believe that an immediate change is in the best interests of the club.”
The 60-year-old Portuguese manager assumed the position in 2021, leading Roma to victory in the 2022 Europa Conference League and reaching the final of the previous season’s Europa League.
