Tricycle and motorcycle riders in Esan West Local government area of Edo state have raised the alarm over what they described as “exorbitant and unwarranted charges on the insurance of reflective jackets, stickers and other items” by the council.
They alleged that before the arrival of the newly elected executive of the local government headed by Collins Aigbogun as chairman, reflective jacket was sold to them for N4,000 (four thousand naira) along with an Identity card while the council is now asking them to pay the sun of N6500 (six thousand, five hundred naira) for the same items.
