Lagos, Nigeria – Music star Davido faces blistering accusations of cyberbullying and online harassment from ex-partner Sophia Momodu.
Momodu’s legal team, PUNUKA Attorneys and Solicitors, fired off a scathing cease-and-desist letter to Davido’s legal representatives (prior to Tiwa Savage’s filed police report), detailing a series of online attacks, defamatory remarks, and alleged threats orchestrated by Davido and his associates.
The cease-and-desist letter paints a disturbing picture of alleged online abuse directed at Momodu and her close circle. It accuses Davido of sponsoring smear campaigns on social media, orchestrating coordinated cyberbullying attacks, and issuing menacing threats against Momodu’s associates. This conduct, the letter claims, violates Momodu’s constitutional rights and disregards basic principles of decency and respect.
This petition, attached to the letter as an annexure, outlines specific instances of alleged lawlessness and threats attributed to Davido.
Despite attempts to reach Davido’s legal representatives, Momodu’s lawyers report that the online attacks have continued unabated. Annexure B of the letter presents evidence of recent coordinated cyberbullying campaigns targeting Momodu, further escalating the legal tension.
Momodu’s lawyers in a strong rebuke of Davido’s actions, condemn his conduct as “condemnable” and “grossly lawless.” They warn that Davido will be held responsible for any harm that may come to Momodu, highlighting the seriousness of the alleged threats and premeditated intentions attributed to the musician.
