Ex-factional Rivers Speaker Withdraws Suit Against 25 Pro-Wike Assembly Members

An ex-factional Speaker of the Rivers State House of Assembly, Rt. Hon. Edison Ehie, has withdrawn his suit against 25 pro-Wike lawmakers who defected from the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) to the All Progressives Congress (APC).

Ehie had instituted a contempt Suit marked PHC/3638/CS/2023 at a State High Court sitting in Port Harcourt, challenging the validity of the legislative activities of the affected lawmakers after their seats were declared vacant
