Tinubu’s resolution on Rivers crisis not as bad as people think, Gov Fubara says in statewide broadcast

Contrary to condemnations trailing the President Bola Tinubu sanctioned resolution on the political crisis in Rivers State, the state Governor, Sir Siminalayi Fubara, has said that it is certainly not a death sentence, as perceived by many.

Fubara made the declaration in a statewide broadcast in Port Harcourt to mark the 2023 Christmas celebration, adding that the presidential intervention has helped to give room for resolution of the political war in the state.

Fubara, who acknowledged that the directives had sparked mixed reactions across the state, said he had taken much time to study the terms of the pact and that it was not as bad as perceived by people.
