Mr. Godwin Emefiele, the embattled former governor of the Central Bank of Nigeria (CBN) has reacted to the allegations of theft and of illegally operating foreign bank accounts levelled against him as false, misleading and calculated to disparage his person.
Recall that Jim Obazee, private investigator appointed by President Bola Tinubu had in a report last week, accused Emefiele of operating hundreds of foreign bank accounts illegally, while also alleging that the former CBN boss and his accomplices stole billions of naira.
