Rumbling Of Undemocratic Forces In Rivers

The crisis rocking the Rivers State House of Assembly took a new turn on Monday with twenty-seven members defecting from the ruling Peoples Democratic Party in the state to the All Progressives Congress. Two of the twenty-seven have been reported to have returned to the PDP. The defection is seen in many quarters as the climax of the power tussle between Governor Siminalayi Fubara and his predecessor and godfather, Nyesom Wike.
