FG to promote bamboo cultivation, utilisation in Nigeria

The Minister of Environment, Mallam Balarabe Abbas Lawal, made this known on Wednesday to commemorate this year’s World Bamboo Day in Abuja.

According to him, Bamboo plays a crucial role in combating climate change. Its ability to sequester carbon dioxide and release oxygen surpasses that of many other plant species.
