Foundation FC has emerged winner of the 2023 Hon. Esosa Iyawe football tournament played at the University of Benin (Uniben) sports complex in Edo state.
The team emerged victorious after it defeated Obidient FC by 2 goals to nil and thereby pocked the N1m star prize.
The runners up, Obidient FC and United Star were respectively rewarded with N500,000 and N200,000, while other participating teams received a consolation cash prize of N20,000 each.
