The Group Chief Executive Officer (GCEO) of the Nigerian National Petroleum Company (NNPC) Limited, Mele Kyari, has indicated that there is no guarantee that when refineries in the country come on stream, they will lead to a reduction in price of petrol, as according to him, such reduction is not the reason for the creation of the refineries.
The NNPC boss spoke when he appeared before the joint committee of national assembly on appropriations.
