Maguire made the joint-most blocks, and fifth-most clearances, and won the second-most aerial duels in a dominant month for the centre-back. He is the first defender to win the award since Liverpool’s Joel Matip in February 2022. Overall, he is the 15th defender in history to be voted the Premier League’s Player of the Month, and only the third from Man Utd, after Nemanja Vidic and Rio Ferdinand.
