Banks credit to economy rises 39% to N38.3bn in July

The apex bank’s recent monthly report shows that on a year-on-year (y/y) basis, their credit lending to the economy grew markedly by 39 per cent y/y.

According to the report, DMBs’ credit growth to the services, industry, and agriculture sectors saw a slight month-on-month (m/m) increase.
