KATSINA – The Emir of Daura, Alhaji Farouk Umar, his Bichi counterpart, Alhaji Nasiru Bayero and former Katsina State Governor, Barr Ibrahim Shema, are to be awarded honorary doctorate degrees by the Federal University, Dutsinma, Katsina State.
Prof Armaya’u Bichi, FUDMA Vice Chancellor who disclosed this while speaking with newsmen on Thursday, said the award is in recognition of their leadership qualities, and contribution to the socio-economic development of the state and country at large.
