BAUCHI – A fresh leadership crisis has hit the Bauchi State chapter of the ruling All Progressives Congress as the State Working Committee of the party on Thursday passed a vote of confidence on the embattled Chairman, Babayo Aliyu Misau.
Daily Independent reports that 27 out of the 37 members of State Working Committee passed the vote of no confidence at an emergency meeting that held at the secretariat of the party. The 27 members consequently announced his removal as the Chairman and replaced him with the Deputy Chairman, Mohammed Hassan Tilde in line with the Constitution of the party.
