Lawmakers in the Plateau State House of Assembly have elected a new speaker and deputy, Politics Nigeria can authoritatively report.

Honourable Gabriel Dawang, the member representing Pankshin North, was elected speaker of the Plateau State House of Assembly on Tuesday, November 21, 2023.
