‘SMEs Must Prioritise Innovations To Thrive In 21st Century’

Amid a highly competitive economic landscape, a seasoned product marketing expert,  Adedeji Adesoye has stressed that Small and Medium Enterprises (SMEs) must submit to continuous learning and innovation to thrive.

Adesoye said, the dynamic nature of the market demands constant adaptation, and that SMEs can achieve this through knowledge acquisition and proactive innovation.

The marketing expert posited that, for SMEs to compete globally, they must innovate, emphasising to SMEs on the importance of staying ahead of the curve in the ever-evolving business world

“Drawing from my wealth of experience, having a decade of experience in the industry, I’m strongly advocating that small and medium-sized enterprise owners need to cultivate strong and enduring connections with their customers and partners.  These relationships are essential to attaining success in their respective ventures.” He added.

Adesoye, who was in a media briefing, provided his invaluable perspective on the present condition of the economy and urged for action. He emphasised that, in today’s highly competitive, technology-driven, and constantly evolving environment, companies that are unwilling to embrace innovation are at risk of going under.

He further appealed to the government, emphasising the crucial need for a conducive business environment and the implementation of supportive policies to facilitate the growth of Small and Medium Enterprises (SMEs).

“The SMEs play a major role in driving economic growth and contribute significantly to the national economy. There is a need for the government and its agencies to create an enabling environment that will foster the growth and sustainability of SMEs, and ultimately lead to a prosperous economy for all,” he stressed.
