Agbayewa told the News Agency of Nigeria (NAN) on Wednesday in Lagos that the model would enable government at all levels to create specific food zones in states and local government areas.
He said that the government could establish rice-free zones, maize-free zones, cassava-free zones and more to boost the nation’s food security using the model.
He also said that establishing food zones would address the present food security challenges, thereby revolutionising farming practices in the country.
