The President of the Nigeria Football Federation (NFF), Ibrahim Gusau, has urged the country’s U-20 women’s team, the Falconets, to give their all and secure a victory in their FIFA U2-0 Women’s World Cup second-round, first-leg match against Tanzania on Sunday.
This, he emphasised, would be a significant step in setting the course for their success in their chosen careers.
Speaking when he visited the girls at the FIFA Goal Project inside the MKO Abiola National Stadium, Abuja, in what was their last training session before their trip to Dar es Salaam, Mr Gusau said the players must comport themselves appropriately on and off the pitch as they are ambassadors of Nigeria.
