Former governor of the Central Bank of Nigeria (CBN) and the 14th Emir of Kano, Muhammadu Sanusi II, has urged the leadership of the CBN, under Mr Yemi Cardoso to work persistently at driving down interest rate, which he noted had severely impacted the wealth of individuals.
Sanusi, who is also the Khalifa of the Tijaniyyah Sufi order of Nigeria and the neighbouring countries, stated this when he led the Impact Investing Community on a visit to the Central Bank of Nigeria on Thursday, November 2, 2023,
