Nigeria’s inglorious outing in Global Hunger Index

Once again, Nigeria is in a notorious club for the wrong reasons. The World Food Programme (WFP) listed Nigeria among the six countries with most severe hunger crisis.

Aside from the nine countries listed in the GHI as having critical hunger crisis, WFP marked out six countries where it considers hunger to be most severe. The six countries are Afghanistan, South Sudan, Nigeria, Somalia, Ethiopia and Yemen.
