ABUJA – The Campaign for Democracy, a nonpartisan civic organisation devoted to preserving democratic values and strengthening the democratic process, has demanded harsh penalties be applied to Mr. Joshua Maciver, the All Progressives Congress (APC) deputy governorship candidate in the Bayelsa State governorship race scheduled for November 11th.
During a campaign stop in Twon Brass Town, Mr. Maciver threatened the lives of opposition supporters and encouraged party members to use violence in the state’s forthcoming November 11th governorship election.
