Chief Clark Urge Tinubu to Intervene As Rivers Assembly Moves To Impeach Gov Fubara

Chief Edwin Clark, the leader of the Ijaw tribe, has urged President Bola Ahmed Tinubu to intervene in the ongoing political unrest in Rivers State and take appropriate action.

The veteran politician asked President Tinubu to warn Nyesome Wike, the Minister of the Federal Capital Territory (FCT), According to The Nation, the call comes after state House of Assembly members served Siminalaye Fubura, the governor of Rivers State, with an impeachment notice.
