Iwuanyanwu disclosed this at a press conference in Owerri, the Imo State capital, on Wednesday, October 25, 2023.
Tinubu’s cabinet, inaugurated on August 21, 2023, had only five representatives from the Southeast region, which include the Minister of State for Labour and Employment, Nkiruka Onyejeocha (Imo State); Minister of Women Affairs, Uju Kennedy (Anambra); Trade and Investment, Doris Anite (Abia); Minister of Innovation Science and Technology, Uche Nnaji (Enugu); and Minister of Works, Dave Umahi (Ebonyi).
Meanwhile, the Ohanaeze leader argued that the Tinubu government treated the Southeast zone unfairly in the distribution of ministerial slots, given that other zones had more representatives in the Federal Executive Council.
