Nasarawa state Governor Abdullahi Sule remained upbeat after the Governorship Election Petition Tribunal Monday nullified his election and declared the People’s Democratic Party (PDP) candidate, David Ombugadu, as winner of the March 18 election.
The Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) had declared Sule of the All Progressives Congress (APC) as winner of the governorship election, having polled a total of 347,209 votes to defeat Ombugadu, his closest rival, who got 283,016 votes.
