Global Transactions Nigeria Limited (GTNL), a company saddled with the responsibility of ensuring that telecommunications infrastructure complies with the environmental laws of Osun State, on Wednesday said the standard control activities is not a money making venture, but an obligatory duty of the state government to ensure the safety of the residents of the state and the environment.
The company’s Director of Projects and Data Management, Morenike George-Taylor while fielding questions from journalists in Osogbo, reiterated that the about to be commenced audit and inspections of existing installations within the state was to ensure total compliance with relevant the Osun Environmental Protection Law, 2022.
