Tobi Amusan won the race in Eugiene Oregon, US on Sunday, September 17, 2023. She won her first title clocking 12.42 seconds in 2021, thereafter she clinched her second title in 12.29 seconds in Zurich last year (2022).
The venue in Oregon has been favourable for the 24-year-old as this is the same venue where she won the world title last year and also set a new world record. She finished ahead of Puerto Rico’s Jasmine Camacho-Quin in 12.38 seconds while USA’s Kendra Harrison came third in the race.
