The meeting between the Nigeria Labour Congress (NLC) and officials of the federal government on the fuel subsidy removal policy ended in a deadlock Monday evening.
The meeting held in Abuja and was attended by the Minister of Labour and Employment, Simon Lalong, Minister of State for Labour and Employment, Nkeiruka Onyejeocha NLC President, Joe Ajaero, and other leaders.
Earlier in the month, the NLC embarked on a two-day nationwide strike to protest the failure of the Nigerian government to proffer lasting solutions to the challenges caused by fuel subsidy removal.
