Breaking: Monarch indicted as Rivers governor reveals suspected killer of DPO, takes strong action

  • Governor Fubara of Rivers state has offered a N100 million reward for information leading to the capture of Gift David Okpara Okpolowu and his criminal gang
  • The governor took the action in response to the murder of a Divisional Police Officer (DPO), SP Bako Angbashim, in Odiemudie Community
  • Fubara has also indefinitely suspended a local monarch, Eze Cassidy Ikegbidi, for complicity in allowing the gang to operate freely in his territory

Port Harcourt, Rivers state – Governor Siminalayi Fubara has placed a N100 million bounty on one Gift David Okpara Okpolowu, a.k.a. 2-Baba and all members of his criminal gang.

In a statement on Saturday, September 9, the Rivers state governor declared 2-Baba, and his gang wanted for the murder of a DPO, SP Bako Angbashim, in Odiemudie Community, Ahoada East local government area of the state.
