Results of the Saturday local government election in Edo State, which was organised by the state independent electoral commission, has shown that the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) won in all 18 Local Government Areas.
The Edo North, Edo Central, and Edo South senatorial districts were covered by the election, which was held in each of the state’s 18 local government areas.
The All Progressives Congress (APC) and the Labour Party (LP) are two other significant political parties that presented candidates in the election for Chairmanship and Councillorship of all the wards in addition to the PDP.
