Cole Palmer is Chelsea FC’s latest signing as the Blues, in an official statement, announced that the young England international has signed a long-term deal with the club from Manchester City; although fans have mixed reactions about the signing, his jersey number has been confirmed at the club.
Chelsea’s statement about his signing read, “Chelsea is pleased to announce the signing of England Under-21 international Cole Palmer from Manchester City. Palmer has signed a seven-year contract – with a club option of a further year – at Stamford Bridge and will join up with Mauricio Pochettino’s squad ahead of our Premier League fixture with Nottingham Forest.”
