Forum Demands Youth Minister From North

The Amalgamated Forum of Registered and Deregistered Political Parties in Nigeria has urged President Bola Tinubu to pick the minister of Youth Development from the North.

They said the appointment will ensure a balance of the youth representation in President Tinubu’s cabinet, adding that “since the minister of sports is from the south, it is wise to give North the minister of Youth Development.”

They however recommended Engr. Muhammed Auwal Ibrahim for appointment as minister for the portfolio.

According to a statement signed by the forum’s chairman, Barrister Mikaila Abubakar Danfulani yesterday in Abuja, the forum said the president needs to have an experienced youth to add impetus to his administration’s quests of taking the youths to an enviable level of development.

According to the statement, “Engr. Ibrahim, isn’t only experienced in  Information and communications technology, but also accomplished in the marine and blue economy sector, down to politics and politicians.”

“Engr. Auwal Ibrahim has been a very close partner to political gladiators world wide, he is the founder and convener of Tinubu Shettima Global Support Group.

“A vigorous campaign strategist, skilled in developmental relationships with all classes of humans. A vibrant and young entrepreneur. If given the chance we believe that he will deliver to the aspiration of the Nigerian Youths,” the statement noted.
