The Nigeria Labour Congress (NLC) in a veiled accusation has insinuated that the Nigeria Police Force (NPF) May be covertly helping an erstwhile arrow head of the National Union of Road Transport Workers (NURTW) in Lagos, Musiliu Akinsanya, popularly called MC Oluomo, to spread his tentacles from the south-west region to the national level.
This follows the seeming gradual decimation of the national body of the NURTW.
This is as the congress, on Sunday, threatened to picket the Police Headquarters in Abuja and police stations nationwide over alleged police harassment and intimidation of union leaders if the Inspector General of Police, IGP, does not end the illegal action.
