President Bola Tinubu met with the first set of governors elected in Nigeria’s Fourth Republic on Wednesday at the State House in Abuja.
POLITICS NIGERIA reports that the meeting, which was held in the council chamber of the Aso Villa, was attended by 12 of the 13 former governors who served between 1999 and 2007.

During the meeting with the former governors, President Tinubu assured Nigerians that the framework for palliatives to remedy the effects of fuel subsidy removal was being worked out, assuring that the decision was in the best interest of the country, especially in guaranteeing future prosperity.
