Vice President Kashim Shettima is currently in a closed-door meeting with the principal officers of the National Assembly, specifically the Speaker of the House of Representatives, Honorable Tajudeen Abbas, and his Deputy, Honorable Benjamin Kalu.
POLITICS NIGERIA reports that the meeting is taking place at the Presidential Villa in Abuja.
This marks the first meeting between the House leadership and the Vice President since their assumption of office as Speaker and Deputy Speaker, respectively.
