“Killed a monster” – Benue youths kill huge hippopotamus terrorizing waterways

Local youths are said to have killed a hippopotamus that was allegedly wreaking havoc in the waterways of the Agatu Local Government Area in Benue State.

On July 6, 2023, the incident happened close to Ebete, a hamlet on the border of the states of Benue and Nasarawa.
