Lagos, 30 June 2023 – President Bola Tinubu, accompanied by Muslim faithful, gathered today (Friday) at the Lagos Central Mosque, Idumota, Lagos to observe Jumat prayer. This comes after his return to Lagos from an international trip to Paris and a short private visit to London.
President Tinubu had recently participated in the summit for “A New Global Financing Pact” hosted by French President Emmanuel Macron in Paris. Following the two-day summit, he proceeded to London, United Kingdom, for a brief personal visit. His spokesman, Dele Alake, had previously announced that the President would be back in Nigeria to celebrate the Eid-el-Kabir festivities on June 28 and 29, 2023.
