Ribadu: Pro-Tinubu Group Confident Security Will Improve

A political organisation under the auspices of Tinubu/Shettima Campaign Organisation, Adamawa senatorial zone has applauded President Bola Tinubu for appointing Nuhu Ribadu as the country’s National Security Adviser (NSA), that the appointment will improve Nigeria’s security apparatus. 

The coordinator of the organisation,  Hon. DanAsabe Suleiman Kakanda who made this known in a statement yesterday, congratulated Ribadu for the appointment, urging him to leave up to the expectation of President Tinubu and entire Nigerians.Kakande, who expressed confidence in the appointment, described Ribadu as a man with a wide understanding of Nigeria’s security challenge and knowledge of how to overcome it.

He stated that President Tinubu’s choice in appointing Ribadu reflects a commitment to excellence and a desire to assemble a team of the brightest minds in national security.

According to the statement, the appointment of the former chairman of the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC), has shown President Tinubu’s desire to strengthen Nigeria’s security apparatus and ensure the safety of all Nigerians.

‘’Mallam Ribadu brings a wealth of experience, expertise, and a proven track record in the field of intelligence as an outstanding and highly respected retired police officer.

‘’So, we are convinced that with his wide background in intelligence and security matters, Ribadu has the needed skills and qualities to effectively put an end to security challenges in the country,” he said.

He further said that throughout Ribadu’s career, he has consistently demonstrated selfless dedication, deep insight, and a wide understanding of the evolving security challenges in Nigeria and beyond.

“With this appointment, we are convinced that a comprehensive and thoughtful approach from his leadership will shape Nigeria’s security situation because he has a reputation for collaborating with agencies and building strong partnerships with international allies,” he said.

Kakande said that this collaborative quality will improve Nigeria’s ability to address emerging security threats, promote diplomacy, and ensure the safety of Nigerians both at home and abroad.
