The latest player who is reportedly close to leaving the Stamford Bridge club is Matteo Kovacic. The Croatian is just some paperwork away from joining last season’s treble-winning team, Manchester City on a long-term deal.
City are expected to pay Chelsea at least £30 million for the midfielder who joined the Blues from Real Madrid. Kovacic has a year left on his contract and could leave as a free agent if they decide not to sell him this summer. He is expected to have his medicals in the coming days.
