Equatorial Guinea defeated Tunisia 1-0 on Saturday to secure their place in the 2023 Africa Cup of Nations that is set to take place in Cote d’Ivoire in January 2024.
Striker Emilio Nsue scored the winning goal for the hosts five minutes before the final whistle from the penalty spot.
Equatorial Guinea now lead their qualifiers Group J with 12 points, while Tunisia, who had already qualified for the finals, came as the runner-up with 10 points.
