President Bola Tinubu has suspended Abdulrasheed Bawa, the chairman of the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC).
POLITICS NIGERIA reports that the decision is reportedly made to facilitate a thorough investigation into Bawa’s conduct during his tenure.
President Tinubu authorised the suspension, directing Bawa to immediately hand over the responsibilities of his position to the director of operations at the commission.
The director will oversee the affairs of the chairman’s office until the investigation is concluded.
