Nigeria’s Vice President, Kashim Shettima, has appealed to senators-elect on the platform of the All Progressives Congress (APC) and those from the opposition party to support the candidate of Godswill Akpabio (APC Akwa-Ibom) and Sen. Barau Jibrin (APC Kano) for the 10th Senate President and Vice President respectively.
According to Shettima, the most incompetent Southern Christian is better to be elected Senate President than a strict Northern Muslim to be elected for the position at the moment.
