Nagelsmann is close to sealing a move to PSG, and he has made the Nigerian his top target
German coach Julian Nagelsmann has informed PSG that his top priority is to sign Nigerian striker Victor Osimhen If he gets the coaching job, Soccernet.ng reports.
PSG parted ways with Christophe Galtier at the end of the season after an average campaign. The former Nice boss was eliminated from the Champions League in the Round of 16 and failed to win the French Cup. PSG could only win the Ligue 1 despite their array of stars.
Both parties split at the end of the season, and PSG are currently shopping for a replacement. Former Bayern Munich coach Nagelsmann is one of the favourites to land the job. And according to RPN per Napoli Magazine, he has informed the PSG hierarchy that he wants Osimhen to be his first signing.
Osimhen is currently on the radar of several top clubs in Europe. The former Lille man has put himself on the radar of Manchester United, Chelsea, Bayern Munich, and Real Madrid after scoring 31 goals in all competitions for Napoli.
It is set to be an interesting summer, as Napoli are known to be clingy to their best players. The Super Eagles striker could command a fee of €150million from suitors.
