Senate steps down consideration of 2021, 2022 NDDC budgets again

The Senate Thursday stepped down consideration of the 2021 and 2022 budgets of the Niger Delta Development Commission (NDDC).

The NDDC 2021 and 2022 budgets have been subjects of controversy in both chambers of the National Assembly, which prompted the Senate to set up an Ad-hoc Committee to investigate why the Commission had no approved budget for those two consecutive years.
