Nigeria’s world 100m record holder, Tobi Amusan brought the curtains down at the Racers Grand Prix in Kingston, Jamaica on Saturday 3 June recording her first win of the season.
Amusan, the favourite in the women’s 100m hurdles event, demonstrated her class as she sailed over the barriers in a season’s best time of 12.57s dipping ahead of American hurdler Tia Jones (12.72s) with Jamaica’s Megan Tapper clocking 12.80s for third place.
The Racers Grand Prix is a World Athletics Continental Tour Silver-level series meeting held at Jamaica’s national stadium.
