BAYO AGBOOLA from Ibadan writes that all eyes are now on Engineer Seyi Makinde’s second term, having completed his first term in office on Monday, May 29 and subsequently inaugurated for another four years in office at the Obafemi Awolowo stadium, (Liberty stadium) where he was sworn in by the Chief Justice of Oyo state, Justice Iyabo Yerima.
With his re-election, the Governor Makinde will go down in history as the second person to serve for two terms in Oyo state. Late Senator Abiola Ajimobi was the first to ahieve that feat.
