Manchester United plot move for 5 strikers despite Kane interest

Manchester United are weighing up moving for five other striker targets this summer, according to reports, with the club expecting Tottenham chairman Daniel Levy to play hardball in a bid to prevent Harry Kane from leaving.

Spurs talisman Kane, who became his side’s all-time record goal scorer this season, is understood to be a prime target for United and Erik ten Hag ahead of the next campaign, although Levy has been notoriously difficult to negotiate with in the past.

As a result, United are actively pursuing alternatives with Ten Hag desperate for a clinical new forward, although their interest in Kane has not yet ended.
