Following a shocking incident involving the Grammy award-nominated singer, songwriter and performer Seun Kuti and men of the Nigerian police force on Saturday, May 13, 2023, on the 3rd Mainland Bridge in Lagos, the Nigerian police force has proceeded in making arresting the singer in the early hours of today, Monday, May 15, 2023, after the video of him slapping a police officer went viral on social media.
The video which surfaced on social media showed Seun Kuti slapping a police officer and many were confused as to why that had happened a reason the singer took to social media to share with Nigerians.
