Kahn was speaking in an interview with SportBild where he as asked about the club’s decision to sack the German midway into the season. He said, the club took the decision following a series of poor results despite having a plan to stick with him for a long time.
Bayern hired Thomas Tuchel as a replacement for Nagelsmann but the former Chelsea manager has failed to hit the ground running since his appointment. The Bavarians currently lead the league table with one point ahead of Dortmund with five games until the end of the season.
