The State Working Committee (SWC), of the Taraba State chapter of the All Progressive Congress (APC), has suspended the senator-elect to represent southern Taraba at national assembly, Jikuta David from the party.
The SWC also expelled the governorship aspirant in the recent primary election Chief David Sabo Kente from the party.
In a statement signed by the state APC chairman, Bar. Ibrahim El-Sudi, the party said the decision on the two members of the party was done after proper scrutiny on their anti-party activities.
He said: “It will recall that sometimes in July 2022 the executives of APC Kente Ward of Wukari local government area wrote the chairman of APC Wukari LGA calling for the expulsion of Kente on series of allegations and offences against the party as enshrined in the party 2022 constitution as amended.
